This web application allows you to search CPAN and Github in one simple step. Github search is limited to Perl repositories. Results are merged with an algorithm that tries to move good github matches to the top.

It even uses familiar search.cpan.org design.

Known issues:

1. github search is very slow, unreliable and case-sensitive
2. github heuristic to determine language is not perfect, some repositories are misclassified
3. CPAN XML API does not return distribution version
